IMPALED: Two New Songs Posted Online

Two songs — "You are the Dead" and "Up the Dose" — from the upcoming IMPALED CD, "The Last Gasp", are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. The album is set to hit stores in the United States on November 6 and one day earlier in Europe.

Commented bassist Ross Sewage, "These two brutal tracks are just a brutalistic sampling of how brutalful our latest brutastic album really is."

The cover artwork for "The Last Gasp" was created by the band and is about an accurate representation of their brand of medical metal as one could expect.

The cover features scream-queen and horror auteur Shannon Lark, the woman behind the Chainsaw Mafia horror message board, the Living Dead Girlz zombie dance troupe, and the Viscera Series Film Fest. According to IMPALED bassist Ross Sewage, "Shannon was awesome to work with, mostly because she's willing to lie in a puddle of guts and vomit for upwards of an hour."

IMPALED guitarist Jason Kocol said of the art, "This cover will make you shit out your mouth and wish you were never born."
